Natalie Miller brings a rare blend of creativity, technical expertise, and hands-on experience to every project she undertakes. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Jose State University and is certified by both the “National Kitchen and Bath Association” (NKBA) as a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and by the “California Council for Interior Design for Certification” as a Certified Interior Designer (CID). She is also a licensed General Contractor #1041391 in the State of California.

A Sacramento native, Natalie has been designing and remodeling homes throughout the region since 1988. Her deep roots in the area, combined with decades of experience, give her a unique understanding of local architectural styles and client needs.

Natalie is known for her ability to merge beautiful design with practical functionality. She takes a collaborative approach, working closely with each client to ensure the finished space reflects their lifestyle and vision. The result: dramatic, innovative designs that are as functional as they are inspiring.

With over 30 years in Sacramento’s design and construction industry, Natalie Miller has built long-standing partnerships with skilled, quality-focused tradespeople—some collaborations spanning decades. She carefully selects professionals who share her high standards, commitment to detail, and dedication to exceptional customer service.

As a Licensed General Contractor, Natalie offers a comprehensive, start-to-finish approach. She develops the initial design concept, creates detailed plans, specifies all project elements, and manages the scheduling and coordination of finished materials. Throughout the process, she works closely with homeowners, guiding them through every decision to ensure a smooth, successful remodeling experience.

Tribute

In 1997, Natalie Miller and her husband, General Contractor Rick Miller, founded Interior Focus—combining their unique talents in design and construction to form an exceptional partnership. Together, they built a business rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and care.

In 2017, Rick’s passing marked a profound loss, both personally and professionally. In his honor, Natalie has continued the legacy they created, earning her own General Contractor license and carrying forward the vision they shared. Her decades of experience alongside Rick shaped her into a deeply knowledgeable, intuitive design professional with a strong understanding of both the creative and structural sides of remodeling.
